Description
A symbol of Carnival, Honey Pignolata—along with Black and White Pignolata—is one of the most traditional varieties. Very similar to Neapolitan struffoli, but shaped like a pine cone—hence the name pignolata—it is popular in Sicily and Calabria, especially in the cities and provinces of Reggio Calabria and Messina.
